Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).
Answer: A book that influenced me would be Impulse by Ellen Hopkins. I read it in 6th grade and it really got me into reading. I don't know what it was but, it opened so many doors. I used to be a horrible reader, I mean really bad. && ever since I read it.. I've been reading like there's no tomorrow! My grammar has improved, and so much more.

Everyone has something, someone, somewhere else that they’d rather be. For four high-school seniors, their goals of perfection are just as different as the paths they take to get there.

This weeks question:
Q: What is the one ARC you are dying to get your hands on right now?
Answer: An ARC I would LOVE to get my hands on would be.... Perfect by Ellen Hopkins! I absolutely loved Impulse by her! Perfect is the companion novel to it.
Everyone has something, someone, somewhere else that they’d rather be. For four high-school seniors, their goals of perfection are just as different as the paths they take to get there.Cara’s parents’ unrealistic expectations have already sent her twin brother Conner spiraling toward suicide. For her, perfect means rejecting their ideals to take a chance on a new kind of love. Kendra covets the perfect face and body—no matter what surgeries and drugs she needs to get there. To score his perfect home run—on the field and off—Sean will sacrifice more than he can ever win back. And Andre realizes that to follow his heart and achieve his perfect performance, he’ll be living a life his ancestors would never have understood.
Everyone wants to be perfect, but when perfection loses its meaning, how far will you go? What would you give up to be perfect?
AMAZING!:)

My FF, http://obsessionwithbooks.blogspot.com
Have a nice weekend.
I still remember my first chapter books. They were Lamb in the Laundry (from the Animal Ark books) and Charlotte's Web. I loved those books a lot when I was a little girl, and they are what started me reading. I owe my mom so much for introducing me to books!
